Resumo (em inglês)
This article discusses the object oriented project for a finite element method software expansion, which aims to add the capability of performing a dynamic geometrically non-linear analysis of structures. The article’s main focus is on the new classes which will be implemented. A brief revision of the formulation to be implemented is made and the incremental-iterative procedures used for solving the problem equations are also discussed. Many UML (Unified Modeling Language) diagrams are shown, indicating how the new classes will interact with the old ones and how do they provide all the expected features.
